Due to the continued challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, The College has made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 Clambake and Soldier Citizen Award event to benefit veterans scholarships. The Clambake is our primary revenue source for scholarships and the demand for our scholarship program benefiting active duty military personnel, veterans, and spouses continues to increase. In order to keep up scholarship support and empower these heroes without a Clambake event, we will be launching the fundraising initiative “Operation Gratitude” in the fall. More details will be coming out soon, and stay tuned for the return of the Clambake in 2021!
The Clambake is the premier fundraising and networking event of The American College Penn Mutual Center for Veterans Affairs.
Now in its seventh year, The Clambake is transforming the lives of our Active Duty service members, veterans, and their spouses by raising money for full scholarships for professional designations and degree programs offered by The American College of Financial Services.
This unforgettable event features thought-provoking, immediately-useful content, Broadway-caliber entertainment, and a moving, patriotic award ceremony.
At the heart of the excitement beats the mission of the Center: to provide educational support and career opportunities to men and women who have honorably served in the Armed Forces. The Clambake's generous supporters have allowed more than 100 deserving veterans, active duty members, and their spouses to receive full scholarships to programs offered by The American College in the past year.
Another key component of the event is The American College Soldier-Citizen Award ceremony, celebrating the sacrifice, service, and selflessness of its recipient with a patriotic salute. Click here to learn more about the award.
