Student Experience

Each professional learns differently. Some like the discipline and schedule of live online classes, and others prefer self-paced study with strong support tools. However you want to learn, The American College of Financial Services has a proven educational option for you. Depending on your area of study, we have two main categories of learning that are available in various combinations for our designation and degree programs:

On Your Time: Self-Study

The American College's self-study option, known throughout the financial services industry for its flexibility, superior student resources, and strong results, is available for all of our core professional designation programs. Alongside our top-tier textbooks and study supplements, self-study students also have access to on-demand video content, message boards, practice exams, study guides, and more.

Online: Live Webinar Classes

Many of our popular courses are offered via live, instructor-led classes from your home or office PC. These interactive classes offer a convenient, time-saving way to participate in classes without needing to travel.

In Person: Intensive Review Classes

Accelerate your studies with a live classroom review. Highly qualified faculty members provide you with 18 hours of intensive review of all the major course concepts. You will also have the ability to ask questions and interact with fellow students. On the last day of the session, you will take your final exam, so there’s no need to make a separate appointment at a testing center! Intensive review program (IRP) sessions are a great way to study along with an expert right up to the moment you begin your exam. Students should still study their text and course materials prior to the IRP to be fully prepared.
